Tucker Update

This has been an exciting week for my little Tucker-man. At 8 1/2 months, he has had a week of firsts.
-Waving bye-bye
-Says "dada" pretty consistently and I promise I heard him say "mama" in his crib the other night :)
-Clapping

He is also doing the following:
-army crawling
-sits and plays
-uses his finger and thumb to pick up finger foods

Facts about Tucker:
He still isn't sleeping very consistently :( Wakes up twice in the middle of the night.
He loves his big brother! He laughs at almost anything Atticus does. They are going to have fun when they are older!
He has so much hair! We sometimes call it his "toupee!"
We get comments on his big blue eyes all the time.
He loves to babble and shriek!

Is it just me, or does the second child seem to grow up faster than the first?

Well, here I am....

So I never really thought I would give in to blogging. I tried it once a few years back when I was on a weight loss journey and it went okay. Nothing too exciting. Now though, I fell that I need to start blogging, mainly about the kiddos so friends and family can keep up with what funny thing Atticus said or did this week or the newest thing Tucker is doing.

So here I am! Welcome to Life at the Hobbs House!

This week we decided to buy Atticus a bunk bed. Eventually, Tucker will join him but for now he is in hog heaven. We have encountered a few problems though:
1)Attiucs thinks picking the popcorn texture off the ceiling is fun.
2) He has also discovered the effect of throwing toys into the fan, something I distinctly remember my little brother doing.
3)Sometimes he wants to use the ladder, other times he just jumps.

Here is a picture. They are a craigslist special! If you know me and my wonderful husband, you also know we like to find bargains! This was definitely a bargain. It came with the bunk bed with lots of drawers, shelves, and a desk, as well as, a nice dresser.
